In 2022, Keenan (led his team at Saulter Law P.C.) to obtain one of the largest Civil Rights Settlements in the State of Illinois in the amount of $2.9 Million.

 

This Settlement was also featured in Chicago Lawyer Magazine’s 2022 Settlement Survey which examines the top reported settlements and verdicts.  

 

This year’s rankings are based on 393 Illinois settlements of $500,000 or more—Saulter Law P.C.’s $2.9 Million Settlement ranked number 57 on this list, which is filled with many of Chicago’s preeminent personal injury law firms.

Keenan has handled cases throughout the state of Illinois and has successfully tried and resolved cases in multiple states including California, Texas, and Mississippi.

 

Keenan is a Member of the Trial Bar for the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is admitted to practice before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

 

Keenan serves as the Cook County Bar Association Civil Rights Committee Co-Chair and has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights (prior Board Vice-Chair). Keenan also has previously served as the inaugural Board Chair for the Associate Board of the Chicago Committee—which works to Advance Minority Attorneys at large law firms.
